Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To see quotes, the tool asks for your gender, birth date, health level, tobacco use, how much coverage you want, and how long you want it. Those six answers are enough. Name, address and health details only come up if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They are the monthly rates each carrier quotes for the health class you selected. After you apply, the carrier's underwriting might confirm that class, improve it, or change it. Nothing shown here is a promise of coverage or price.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name and the application comes pre-filled with your answers, then opens on the carriers' secure platform. You can pause and resume, and you sign your name electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the carrier, the amount and your answers. Carriers using accelerated underwriting can decide quickly for eligible applicants without an exam. Each quote shows whether that product requires an exam, might require one, or does not.

Is a longer term better?

A term should cover the years when someone dependent on your income would really struggle if you died: a home loan, kids at home, a business loan. Longer terms cost more monthly but protect you for longer. The tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year terms side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool does not ask for contact details. We do not sell or share your information. Our tracking is cookieless. See the privacy page for everything we collect and who collects it.
